Collection: The New Standard in Biomass Management

The Winnie Digester System

  • The System Setup

System setup was designed to be simple and prioritize getting results for our customers. Thanks in part to its small footprint, the following are the only requirements for us to set up on location:

    • Skid or Trailer are set up in ideal location
    • The system is tied into a 3-Phase, 480V electrical source
    • Inlet and outlet plumbing is run from the system to the biomass

The system includes a proprietary designed control panel and utilizes remote telemetry for 24/7 monitoring, enabling us to review performance and respond quickly in the event of an issue

  • The Digestion Process

The combination of aerobic and anaerobic digestion puts the Winnie Digester in a class of its own

    • An initial Sludge Judge is performed by BarnGrown employees and a 3rd party to measure total solids content and depth of biomass
    • Up to a 1,000 gallons can be processed through the system daily with the Gen II system
    • The solids are broken up into microscopic particles and pasteurized to kill unwanted bacteria and leave behind a probiotic solution we call the "Winnie Solution".

  • Dual Phase Digestion

    • If the Winnie Solution is recirculated back to the biomass for the aerobic digestion, we have observed a 3x increase in digestion with an additional 3,000+ gallons of biomass sludge digested daily.
    • This accelerates the rate of digestion and rapid decrease in methane emissions as the the Winnie Solution's primary probiotic digests the solids and methane generating bacteria.
    • Alternatively, the Winnie Solution can be pumped out into storage containers and used to make our ReGen Soil Conditioner
